Morning everyone,
I am very glad to find this forum as it's really great source of communication with your guys with useful information in a nutshell. As new in area (Chineham) I am still trying to dig around the local knowledge.
Does anyone have a recommendation for nice & spicy Chinese restaurant, specially with buffet service avalaible. Yumm !!!
Can't wait to have a reply !!!
hi m8 there is a nice chinese buffet at top of town wusangdan summin like that never had any probs with them
There is also the mayflower (I think?) which is by the red lion. I believe this is a buffet (but a slightly more "up-market" bufffet than wusungdan.
Thanks for your replies, will go there sometime soon.
If the wasupdan is the one at the top by papersmiths, my daughter loves it as she can keep going back until she's bloated.
thats the one or there is an indian by asda buffet not been there yet but has been recomended to me many times
I fancy a meal in a Chinese, but to get real value-for-money I reckon it's best to starve yourself for a few days beforehand. Has anyone else tried this practical plan?
Chinese meals usually fill me up so quickly then half an hour later I'm hungry again.
Can you fill a doggy bag I wonder? Not that I have a dog mind you, but just to eat later on when I'm starving again? Woof, Woof!
Brian, It entirely depends what you eat, my personal experience tells that more oily/fried stuff kills your appetite and fill you up quite quickly but in fact not very good for your health and you feel hungry after short time. don't know what Chinese use in their food but yes it does fill you up virtually quite quick.
Brian, try eating sushi (if they have a sushi bar there), I've enjoyed it most and felt filled up for a while.
I used to go Chinese quite oftenly when I was in London, buffet was only about 7 quids/person (weekdays) and I love the way the cooked everything. I'm not sure if anyone'e been to oriental city. It's a big plaza in North London with plenty of Chinses/Japnese/Thai asian cusines under one roof + a large Chinese supermarket.
Try that link

I shall try our local buffet soon because you can choose many different things instead of the usual 2/3.........
Yes, I plan to try wusungdan too this weekend.
