Shame the info is wrong and it is a morning one! It was huge, filled to capacity, and the entrance was blocked off to vehicals so no more could get in.
I was not a happy bunny and the return journey was full of " grumble, grumble , bloody Brian. Grumble, grumble , bloody website. grumble, grumble, grumble "
Apologies though Brian, I didl appreciate your trying to help. Honest

You can't guarantee anything you find on the www shell. Sorry but there's people who keep things up to date, and there's everyone else.

I have e-mailed the site webmaster hoping he will try and keep it more up to date shell. Maybe he's trying to do a very difficult task with not enough time and effort. These local event sites are hard work.
I'll report back with his reply...........

There is a boot sale at the Vyne School but I think that is on a Sunday morning. Does it have to be a Sunday afternoon? I think mornings are more popular for boot sales.

Mornings are more popular, but I thought there was one on at Carpenters Down on Sunday afternoons? It's not too well advertised but if I find out I'll let everyone know for sure.............

Thankyou
It was quite gutting to be given wrong info, especially as it was heaving with buyers. Though even Goggle got it wrong and gave me directions to Fleet instead of Farnbrough

Yes there is one on a Sunday morning. Not alot of good when a morning one isn't convenient though - hence my request for an afternoon one.

As far as popularity is concerned, it's more about location and how many people usually attend. The Vyne used to hold one on Sunday afternoons, which saw so many sellers, that the booty stretched all oround the the outer limits of the school field. Lately that isn't the case with it in the mornings. Afternoons are always a good time to stroll around a boot sale and work off the Sunday Roast

Yes it is still there....just. Moving it away from the old John Hunt site seems to have had disastrous results. Though I heard rumours that it closed for the winter now it's not on a hardstanding surface, that could aslo have had an effect if it was true.
