Seamatt, where have the adverts gone? I usually log in and hadn't noticed them missing until now.
There used to be an advert to click every few posts. The adverts on the main linkfornet website are fine but the forum seems to have lost its adverts. I thought this was how you funded the forum. Maybe there was a good reason why you removed them.
Far better without them I reckon. I make a point of never noticing them anyway, but some people on old machines will probably avoid sites that load so slowly because of them. We can't all afford new machines every so often to cope with the commercial influx that has ruined TV and is not threatening the internet.
there wqas a good reason to remove them from the forum, the server was getting bogged down by other sites so I was trying to minimise load. It is also one more thing that needed to be managed and time is limited at the moment

If you run FF as your browser there's an add-on called adblock that prevents ads from appearing, absolutely fantastic, makes a very big improvement to the Internet Experience; no doubt something similar available for other browsers too.

Yes, I've installed this priceless little addon. It's beginning to work it's wonders on my Firefox browser. It's certainly going to speed up my surfing.

I was looking for the Argos one. With Christmas coming up, I am probably not the only one thinking of buying a few things on line and I do try to remember to use your adverts, but not if you hide them so well that it is like an on-line game to find them!
