What happened to the 'Is this boring...' thread?!

it got a bit ott and got taken off. oo i couldn't stay away for long

I've moved it to and area which is not visible to anyone, the reason being is it all got too out of hand, too many abusive and insulting posts. I was tempted to put it back but with some posted edited or removed but I'm not sure if I can be bothered. I'll look through it again and maybe pick out the best bits - i'm sure if I do i'll be accused of sensorship by someone and if I don't i'll be accused of something else

Good to have you back Common - if we can get a few oldies back as well and restore this forum to it's rightful place as the Best in Basingstoke.....

It was the last couple of posts that went too far, I was online at the time so they were not visible for that long.

seamatt, I woud say don't put the thread back or everyone might start arguing again. Can we be trusted with that thread????

seamatt u could always put it back and lock it that way we can see how bad things can get but how we still can post in a good way even after having disagreements

Sorry Della I would like Seamatt to put it back and yes good suggestion from commonasmuck to lock it. I lot of people will be 'proved innocent' with the 'self confession troll' comments and some will understand why there are those that no longer post.

I'm not having a go at you Della but you continually buried your head in the sand and covered for/defended this self confessed troll which led to it all getting widely out of control. I feel that you could have stopped it but you effectively gave it the green light to continue with your continue blind eye turning and that is why many don't post anymore.

If it is known that HE is gone for good, people MIGHT (?) come back.
