Same person different names

Maybe it's just me or maybe I'm paranoid but in the last few days we've had several "people" sign up for forum membership all with numbers in their login name 0123456789 etc.
I find it odd that these "people" would register & then not post. Are they an already existing forum member or someone who has left under a cloud of shame???
Either way I smell something fishy.

The only fishy thing that is going on is spam, what people do is register an account then come back days later and add a link to the signature or some post a response to a thread (to try and look legit) usually with poor english then come back later and add their link to their signature, I must go through a delete more of them, I will also be blocking IP's.

Another thing you will find is that they try and use a very unique username so they can find their links easier in google, next time you see an unusual username google it and you will find if gives you loads of results all connected to forums.
