X Factor 2009 Thread
Double header this week, but will probably find its a non event till Sundays show.

Will look to make my long range prediction once the 12 acts are decided. Already been leaked in the press this year of the final 12, but often find that list could be wrong. Standard looks far better this year, apart from those horrid twins!!!!

RE: X Factor 2009 Thread
Well, Kandi Rain didn't last long did they?!!

I didn't think much of them - not terrible, but very average IMO.

The overall standard does seem higher this year, and there were 4 or 5 acts I thought were quite impressive. The twins are the only terrible act, but they might be around for a while yet as some people do seem to like voting for acts that are heavily criticised, especially by Simon Cowell! Smile

A bit of a manic performance from Robbie Williams I thought on Sunday!

People believe what they want to believe.

RE: X Factor 2009 Thread
Look into Robbies eyes.... were they eyes of someone who was high after his performance or were they chemically induced. I have seen Robbie on tour simply awesome but unsure of Sundays performance.

Kandy Rain were booted, I agree that they should have been in the bottom two but John and Eddie, come be serious, based on there performance I thought they should have walked. Big fan of Olly and Lucie, would like either of those two to win.

I'm struggling with tv at the moment there isn't a great deal on that catches my eye tends to be an awful lot of repeats.

RE: X Factor 2009 Thread
Speaking of repeats, how on earth can ITV show Harry Hill TV Burp (which i absolutely love by the way) on Saturday at 6:15pm and then bloomin repeat it 24 hours later. Disgrace.

Agree with comments about Robbie.

Back to X Factor.

1. Stacie
2. Afro Man
3. Lucie

Stacie only downfall is when she stops singing and just talks....going to irritate viewers in the end as unsure if its just for effect now.

she looks a little like a cross between Jodie Marsh and Village people

Shame she was outperformed by half the amateurs.

I keep hitting 'Escape' but I'm still here.

RE: X Factor 2009 Thread
I won't download the tune and I have to be honest I can't remember the actual tune or lyrics to the song. I can't say that if it was on the radio now I would be able to tell you if it was her or not.

Cross between Jodie Marsh and the village people... not sure about Jodie, the bangers aren't big enough.
