James May - Toy Stories
Has anyone else watched this series. James May is rapidly becoming one of my favourite presenters from Top Gear, he has such a dry sense of humour.
This series took me right back to my childhood with Airfix, Scalextric, Plasticine and Meccano. |

RE: James May - Toy Stories
I thought last night's was one of the best programmes I've seen for a while. The Airfix one was excellent as well.
I keep hitting 'Escape' but I'm still here. |

RE: James May - Toy Stories
They were my favourites as I spent years as a kid (and some as an adult) playing with both. I thought last nights was great in the way it brought people together and the kids seemed to be having a whale of a time.
Never quite got into Plasticine and Meccano |

Has there been a Lego-related catastrophe somewhere and the BBC have decided not to show it out of respect of the bereaving families? I keep hitting 'Escape' but I'm still here. |

RE: James May - Toy Stories
We now have to wait till Xmas for the next program when we get the 1st showing of the Hornby Railway build.
I didnt see the Lego program which I believe was the 1st one shown and its now vanished from the I Player Could be that the Cumbria flood and destuction has caused it to be withdrawn out of respect to those effected sample pictures......... ( http://news.bbc.co.uk/local/surrey/hi/pe...267541.stm ) edit.. Lego AND Hornby are to be shown over the Xmas holidays I don`t do humour. Never give up lifes to short. |
