Aldershot/Fleet area Recommended pub/hotel

Hi everyone, can any of you recommend a pub or hotel with buffet facilities who could cope with a family party of around 40 people? It needs to be within about 4-5 miles of Aldershot. I don't know any in that area, and have been asked by a friend to find something, not too expensive, for September time. Any help would be appreciated.

I used to live in Aldershot and never found a pub I liked in the town, At the risk of offending some many of them were frequented by the military and on a tribal (regimental) basis. Not pleasant places at all.

I'd look towards Farnham, Fleet and Farnborough more. Trouble is it's been a while since I lived that way so have lost touch a bit.
