Thanks m1 for the info good to see Basingstoke becoming less of a joke and more of a place for jokes Big Grin

I know its not your province m1 but do you have any idea if Nando's are offering a 'veggie' alternative?

Also on the 30th yet another comedy night at the Central Studio QMC
http://www.centralstudio.co.uk/Comedy%20...Magic.html .
I went to this last time and had a good time.

Interesting that the Red Lion comedy night promoter is Laughter House and Central Studio promoter is Laughing Horse! hummm! for a dyslexic person its all very confusing.

I also think I saw that the Light Lounge Lounge had a comedy night coming up soon too.

Lets hope unlike the election that the Basingstoke public can be persuaded to leave there armchairs and support all this entertainment.

Thats awful!!

There are now over 3 million vegetarians in the UK - over 5% of the total population. You'd think in this day and age they would be catered for.

Even though I seem to recall a law where all eateries had to provide vegetarian alternative I assumed it was because they didn't have a vegetarian menu I was wrong...

Mushroom & Halloumi Cheese Burger
Roasted Portobello Mushroom & Halloumi cheese Burger with Chilli jam
Mushroom & Halloumi Cheese Pitta
Roasted Portobello mushroom & Halloumi Cheese Pitta with Chilli jam
Veggie Burger
Veggie Pitta
Nutritious patties crammed with scrummy flavours and chunky textures. Spiced with PERi-PERi to order.
Bean Burger
Bean Pitta
Plus various salads.

Shame on you Nando's, and the Q bar in the Basingstoke Arena,

No its not law and why should it be, it should be a business decision. I get fed up with much of the choice given to veggies anyway, so they just don't get my business.

I understand what your saying but as this is such a small special event I guess the logistics of arranging a special meal for what would be a a very small minority would be difficult. Nobody gets a choice so lets hope the Veggies get at least a double portion of chips......... emmmm chips
