......any of you lovely people, have a TV stand just lying in yer attic and gathering dust, that you'd be willing to part with. We've just bought the small Pic a new TV and arranged fer Sky to install Multi-room, but she ain't sure where she wants it yet (bloody stupid kid!).

I have a silver coloured TV stand with metal pillars and racks for DVDs etc for if you woud like it. It is a strong stand for a large TV. Nothing wrong with Shell's TV stand, just don't know what would match your decor better or how heavy the TV is.

Ladies, let me offer my heartiest thank you to you both for your very kind offer to give me one. But in the interests of fair play and decency, and so as not to show any favouritism, Mrs Pic made me take the money that I was intending to drink this fine afternoon and evening, and said unto me " Go and buy one you tight arsed old git". So off I hastened myself and purchased a TV stand for smallest Pic's bedroom.
