Exclamation 'Jon Sargent has pulled out of that dancing show!'
'News flash!'

Now that's an important scoop there guys!
Jon has felt guilty about being bottom of the dance list, yet still maintaining a place in the show.
He knows he's rubbish at dancing but the voters enjoyed his style. It's nice to see a celeb with a conscience eh?

I rarely watch this programme, but know many who do, and he did seem to attract a large following who were determined to vote for him no matter what! The British love an underdog, especially when the judges are perceived as being too harsh and mean.

I don't know why the judges got so worked up about it for - as far as I can see it is primarily an entertainment show. It's not as though the winning celebrity is going to be offered a contract as a professional dancer. They shouldn't have invited him on the show in the first place if they only wanted 'serious' dancers, or they should change the rules.

People believe what they want to believe.

Well, apparently the BBC are going to reimburse much of the voting money. This is very noble of them, but it's only an optional offer so you need to 'do things' to get you dosh back. Many won't bother but I hope they do.

This was a very quick decision so maybe the people at the BeeB were prepared for this situation, like well before it happened.

Sadly, what sort of people will be entered in the next edition of this show? It could well effect the type of person and their abilities?

It could effect the standard of dancing in a big way though. Bit of another dilemma for Auntie BeeB eh?

I hear in the gossip columns Lisa Snowden and Cherie Lunghi are fuming with his presence and want him out. Brendan the horrible man he is probably had a quiet word in his ear.
